Bio

Started playing Bass at sixteen years old and then Guitar at twenty.  First gig was in 1977 as a Bass Player for a Top Forty band managed by Kingsland Talent Agency in Monroe, La. Gigged with several Country/Rock bands, one that were regional favorites, with albums popular in Sweden and Norway. First time to record in a real studio.

A move to Denton, Texas and ended up in a 50s and 60s house-band at the Sock Hop in Dallas.   We played back up band for old Motown groups passing through Dallas, like Jewel Akins and the Coasters.   After that, I performed in several different bands managed by Dallas-Ft. Worth Booking Agencies, covering 80s FM Rock and Metal.

Moved again to Los Angeles in 1988 and helped start an all original Metal Band called Criminal.  Criminal enjoyed some success, did some radio interviews and had started drawing crowds  We started headlining at clubs like the Troubador.

Landed a gig with BMG recording artists, the New Orleans Nightcrawlers, who were in the studio working on a promotional demo with Keyboardist, Nicky Hopkins-see Beatles, Rolling Stones.  The bands manager was the editor of Los Angeles premier recording industry journal, Music Connection.

Moved to Austin, Texas 1995 and formed a three-piece power-trio performing classic hard rock and originals (mostly biker gigs :), Sixth Street still had a lot of different clubs at that time, and there was a healthy music scene. We made my first CD.

Moved home in 1999 to go back to college, where I got an MA..  Joinied an old friend that I had previously gone on the road with twenty years before.  I performed guitar duties for The Hardrick Rivers Revue for seven years.  We made Hardricks first CD, of which I was fortunate to record and produce.

July 2007-What? Another move? to Bloomington, Illinois . As of late, I spend whatever free time working on new material for a second CD.
